The formal relationship began in the early months of 2021 when SCAIP signed an agreement to recognise PER as the sole official distributor of their products in the Australian territory for the supply of all new machines and spare parts.

Our team at PER have been operating, maintaining and repairing SCAIP machinery for almost 10 years via several previous companies, building an in depth know-how of the entire line-up of equipment and a solid relationship with the Italian based manufacturer which has naturally evolved into the current distributorship agreement.

The SCAIP brand has marked its presence in Australia for many years now and is recognised for producing high quality equipment, respected by consumers with its range of pipeline construction machinery previously marketed under the Superior Manufacturing brand. From 2016 onwards, the Superior brand has been replaced in favour of the original SCAIP brand, proudly worn by all new machines coming out of the factory sold in the Australian market.

SCAIP S.p.A. is a family owned original equipment manufacturer (OEM) company that has been designing and manufacturing special purpose equipment since 1959. The company is headquartered in Parma, Italy, where it operates from an extensive, modern premises which is home to the main design and production facilities.

SCAIP was originally founded as a mechanical workshop for agricultural machinery that, over the years, has successfully collaborated with many major players in machinery and engineering construction industries. These experiences laid the foundation for SCAIP to begin working in the oil and gas industry by providing dedicated pipeline construction machines.

Throughout the 1980s and early 2000s, SCAIP specialised in the design and manufacture of a complete line-up of pipeline construction machinery, which has been perfected over time by way of providing excellent customer support and implementing modifications based on end user feedback.

More recently, SCAIP has also expanded its portfolio of products, producing machinery and equipment for industries and applications such as renewable energy sources like wind and solar farms. SCAIP has also been working towards incorporating hybrid, electric, and automated solutions to their full range of machinery.
